Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks an Accounting Compliance Officer to ensure financial activities align with accounting standards, tax regulations, and government requirements. The ideal candidate is a graduate of Accounting with strong tax knowledge and the ability to meet deadlines.

You will prepare, review, and file tax returns, monitor changes in tax laws, and coordinate with external auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required).
• Strong knowledge of taxation and accounting compliance.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, tax, or compliance.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local and national tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Prepare, review, and file tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.) accurately and on time.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting regulations and ensure company compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies.
• Review financial records and transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Assist in tax audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance reports.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management with compliance-related advice and reporting.
