Job summary

We Connect HR Solutions OPC in the Philippines seeks an experienced Tax Compliance Lead to oversee and manage tax compliance processes, focusing on Philippine tax rules, statutory reporting, and regulatory adherence. This role demands strong leadership to guide the compliance team and ensure accuracy and timeliness in all filings.

The ideal candidate has a background in corporate tax, audits, and regulatory reporting, with a proactive approach to stay updated on tax law changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of tax compliance experience, including at least 1-2 years in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and statutory reporting.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of corporate tax returns in compliance with BIR regulations.
• Manage tax audits, reconciliations, and assessments, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Oversee statutory reporting requirements and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline tax processes and improve compliance efficiency.
• Monitor updates in Philippine tax laws and implement necessary adjustments to company practices.
