Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of taxation experience, includes a managerial background, and can coordinate with external auditors and consultants to ensure accurate tax accounting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of taxation experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance: filing and payment of all tax returns and obligations.
• Manage corporate taxes including income tax, VAT, withholding taxes.
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and other government requirements.
• Review tax returns, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Lead tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position while ensuring compliance.
• Manage tax assessments, audits, and investigations, coordinating with BIR and external parties.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on operations and finances.
• Provide tax advisory to Finance and business units on contracts and transactions.
• Identify tax risks and implement controls to minimize exposure.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants on matters.
