Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Support preparation of extensions, quarterly estimates, and tax projections.
• Assist with reconciliation of book-to-tax differences (M-1, M-2, M-3).
• Conduct tax research using authoritative resources (RIA, BNA, IRS guidance).
• Prepare write-up work for closely held businesses and family office clients.
• Identify, follow up on open items, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Track time daily and manage client work within engagement budgets.
• Perform self-review of work and share knowledge with the team.
• Learn firm tax software and collaborate with engagement team on status updates.
• Complete assigned projects within engagement timeline and budget guidelines.
