Job summary

Armanino Pacific LLC in the Philippines is seeking an experienced tax professional to join our tax team. You will prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, and support extensions, estimates, and projections.

Ideal candidates have a CPA trajectory, 5+ years in accounting/tax, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of accounting and tax experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts and its related income tax work papers.
• Support preparation of extensions, quarterly estimates, and tax projections.
• Assist with reconciliation of book-to-tax differences, including Schedules M-1, M-2, and M-3.
• Conduct tax research using RIA, BNA, IRS guidance, and other authoritative resources.
• Prepare write-up work for closely held businesses and family office clients, including reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger cleanup, and tax-ready workpapers.
• Identify and follow up on open items, communicate issues, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Accurately track time daily and manage assigned client work in alignment with engagement budgets.
• Perform self-review of work.
• Learn and effectively utilize firm tax software to continually learn, and share knowledge.
• Work closely with a team and communicate job status with all levels of the engagement team.
• Complete assigned projects within engagement timeline and budget guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Progress toward a CPA license or a stated intent to pursue the CPA or another relevant certification
• Internship or prior experience in public accounting or tax is a plus
