Job summary

AboitizPower in the Philippines seeks a Regulatory Compliance Supervisor to ensure strict compliance, accurate financial reporting, and timely remittances to regulators such as PSALM and TransCo. You'll perform regulatory financial analyses to support senior management in strategic planning, rate-setting, and decision making.

Working with Distribution Finance Group in a hybrid setup, you will deliver regulatory insights, manage audits, and strengthen data controls while developing your finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or other Finance-related courses.
• At least 3 years relevant experience in Finance (1 year general accounting and 2 years in financial analysis).
• 1 year team lead position.

Responsibilities

• REGULATORY STRATEGIC FINANCIAL ANALYSIS: Develop ad hoc financial reports and analyses for budgeting and decision making.
• REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Prepare regulatory reports and ensure audit/compliance readiness, with records management.
• AUDIT, COMPLIANCE AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT: Supervise audit requirements (QMS, ERC, PSALM, TRANSCO) and implement secure file management.

As Regulatory Compliance Supervisor , you will ensures strict compliance, accurate financial reporting, and precise remittances to regulatory bodies such as PSALM and TransCo. Additionally, it executes comprehensive regulatory financial analyses to empower senior management in strategic decision-making, long-term planning, and rate-setting initiatives. The role also involves compliance with the ERC Performance-Based Regulation framework . You will work closely with Distribution Finance Group to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

REGULATORY STRATEGIC FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

• Develop/generate/prepare ad hoc financial/management reports, studies or simulation analyses to aid management in making various decisions (e.g. DSM Rate/ARR Analysis, MAP vs AWAT, etc.) and for budgeting purposes (e.g. CAPEX, OPEX amounts). Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

• Preparation and submission of required requlatory reports
• AUDIT, COMPLIANCE AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT
  • Supervises QMS, ERC, PSALM and TRANSCO audit requirements and monitor implementation of audit recommendations
  • Implement a file management system to make sure that documents can be easily retrieved and to prevent loss and unauthorized access or usage
