Job summary

The role coordinates with internal departments and government agencies to manage tax matters, audits, and related documentation. The ideal candidate has a BS in Accountancy and at least two years of Philippine tax compliance experience, with strong MS Excel skills and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy required.
• At least two years of experience in Philippine tax compliance.
• Knowledge of basic taxation laws and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with ability to coordinate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file tax returns for identified operating companies.
• Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents for tax returns.
• Coordinate with Finance for compliance with outstanding letters of authority/Tax Notices.
• Verify notices issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
• Liaise with BIR for tax matters of operating companies.
• Coordinate and monitor tax compliance with BIR and LGUs.
• Participate in corporate projects requiring due diligence.
• Serve as custodian of all tax documents and related contracts.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Tax Manager/Tax Director.

Job description

The Tax Analyst is responsible for overseeing the preparation, review, and filing of tax returns for assigned operating companies, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal departments and government agencies, particularly the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Units (LGUs), to manage tax matters, audits, and compliance requirements. The position also supports corporate initiatives requiring tax-related due diligence and ensures proper maintenance and safekeeping of all tax documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation, review, and filing of tax returns of identified operating companies
• Preparation of reconciliations, schedules and other supporting documents in relation to the tax returns.
• Supervise and coordinate with Finance Department for compliance with outstanding Letter of Authority/Tax
• Verification Notice issued by Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
• Liaise or coordinate directly with BIR for all tax matters of the operating companies.
• Coordinate and monitor tax compliance (BIR / LGU) of the operating companies.
• Participate in corporate projects requiring due diligence.
• Official custodian of all tax documents and related contracts.
• Such other tasks that may be assigned by the Tax Manager / Tax Director
