B. Braun Medical Supplies, Inc. in Taguig is seeking a Tax & Third Party Payables Manager. You will oversee tax compliance and accounts payable, reporting to senior leadership, and lead a team of accounting professionals to ensure accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities include tax return filings, risk management, and process improvements across payable activities, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to support financial health and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
• Law degree is preferred.
• Total finance work experience: 13+ years.
• Corporate tax management experience: 10+ years.
• General Accounting and Accounts Payable: 3–5 years.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations; SAP/Excel proficiency.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Position Summary

As the Manager for Tax and Third Party Payable, you will oversee tax compliance activities and accounts payable operations. Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance, managing risk, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. You will also lead a team of accounting professionals, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance — Manage preparation and filing of tax returns, payments, and reconciliations; respond to tax notices and assessments; implement exposure mitigations.
• Strategic Planning — Participate in risk assessments, planning, and complex discussions; serve as the main point of contact for escalations and management reporting.
• Audit & Reporting — Support internal and external audits; prepare schedules, reconciliations, and disclosures; ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Tax Research — Monitor changes in tax laws; conduct research on new regulations; prepare memoranda and recommendations for management.
• Third Party Payables — Oversee payable processing; implement best practices and SOPs; collaborate on system enhancements and improvements.
• Process Improvement — Identify areas for control enhancements; support month‑end and year‑end close; foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
• People Management — Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals; provide guidance and ensure alignment with departmental objectives.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and be a CPA.
• Degree in Bachelor of Laws is preferred.
• Minimum 13 years of total finance work experience
• At least 10 years of corporate tax management experience
• 3-5 years of General Accounting and Accounts Payable experience
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software, Microsoft Excel, and SAP ERP.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
