About the role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources & Recruitment team at WalterMart Supermarket, Incorporated. Based in Waltermart Cabuyao, this is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in attracting, identifying, and recruiting top talent to support our continued growth and success. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be instrumental in building high-performing teams across the organization, working strategically to ensure we acquire the right people who align with our company values and business objectives. This role is essential to our HR function, directly contributing to our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers and achieve our organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates through various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and internal referrals

• Screen resumes, conduct initial telephone and video interviews, and assess candidates against job requirements and company culture fit

• Maintain and update candidate databases and applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting

• Coordinate interview schedules, prepare interview materials, and facilitate communication between candidates and internal stakeholders

• Conduct background checks and reference verification in accordance with company policies and legal requirements

• Contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and employer branding initiatives

• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company HR policies throughout the recruitment process

About you

• At least 1-3 years experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources, preferably within the retail or supermarket industry

• Good understanding of recruitment best practices, employment law, and hiring compliance requirements in the Philippines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort with learning new HR technologies

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Willing to be assigned at Waltermart Cabuyao
