Job summary

Surge Fitness & Lifestyle is seeking an HR Officer – Recruitment & General HR to oversee the recruitment process and support daily HR operations in Makati, Philippines. The role requires 3–5 years of experience and a strong foundation in labor law compliance.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration, while helping to develop compliant HR policies and a positive employee experience. This on-site position offers growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Psychology, Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of Recruitment and General HR experience.
• End-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition experience.
• Knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and HR best practices.
• Experience handling employee relations and HR documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• HRIS/ATS experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle from posting to onboarding.
• Source candidates via portals, social media, referrals, and other channels.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews.
• Administer pre-employment requirements, background & reference checks.
• Prepare employment contracts, offers, and onboarding documents.
• Maintain talent pipelines for current and future needs.
• Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Process onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
• Monitor attendance and leaves; assist payroll data.
• Ensure filing and confidentiality of employee information.
• Support company policies and employee handbook implementation.
• Address employee concerns and assist in dispute resolution.
• Promote engagement and a positive work environment.
• Coordinate training, wellness programs, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Code and government regs.
• Assist DOLE compliance and HR policy updates.
• Prepare HR reports and recruitment updates.
• Coordinate training schedules and company events.
• Support HR projects and organizational initiatives.
• Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
