Job summary

IT by Design Philippines Inc. is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to join our technical team. You will provide frontline and advanced technical support while aiding administration, maintenance, and improvement of client IT systems.

The ideal candidate has strong IT support, systems administration, networking, and end-user support skills; you will troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and document processes and resolutions.

Qualifications

3+ years in IT Support or Service Desk.
Strong experience with Windows and Microsoft applications.
Working knowledge of Active Directory and networking fundamentals.
Experience with IT security, patching, and system monitoring.
Experience with RMM, PSA or ticketing platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to end users and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues.
Manage and maintain user accounts, access, and authentication using Active Directory and related tools.
Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft applications, PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
Perform system administration, including OS installation, upgrades, patching, and security updates.
Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network hardware.
Assist with firewall, antivirus, endpoint security, and system monitoring.
Support core IT services, including email, file services, and business applications.
Monitor and manage IT environments using RMM and PSA tools, including ConnectWise or similar platforms.
Document technical issues, resolutions, systems, and procedures.
Manage and prioritize service and project tickets while meeting established SLAs.
