Job summary

Arch Global Services (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to plan, implement, oversee, and maintain our network and IT infrastructure. The role follows a Philippines day shift, with hours 7am–4pm US Eastern Time, and may be amended to cover for others as needed.

You will manage monitoring systems, respond to faults, liaise with suppliers, and handle server/network builds and upgrades while ensuring data center health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization such as VMware, Azure or AWS is required.
• Windows Server (2008/2012) is required.
• Exchange/Office 365 administration is required.
• Strong network knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain monitoring systems for network, ISP services and facilities.
• Identify and respond to faults on company systems and networks.
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
• Provide IP, DNS, core network configurations and monitoring for colocation and leased lines.
• Install racks, power, Ethernet, fiber, console cabling, remote power, and KVM.
• Build and upgrade servers and network equipment.
• Run health, safety and housekeeping checks at data centers.
• Monitor air-conditioning, UPS, generators, and power usage.
• Assist in maintenance and documentation with Service Management Team.
• Provide Tier 3 support for data center operations and ISP services.
