Eastvantage Business Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to join the ICT team. You will manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows/Linux servers, and hybrid infrastructure, while administering Entra ID/AD and security policies using Intune and Sophos.

You will also support ITSM workflows in Freshservice, write PowerShell scripts for automation, and monitor systems with PRTG. Collaboration with development teams and ISO27001/PCI DSS compliance are key expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration/IT Infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and managing licenses.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Azure Cloud.
• Experience administering Sophos Endpoint Protection.
• Experience with Freshservice or other ITSM platforms.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and IT process automation.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools such as PRTG.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Systems Engineer to join our ICT team. In this role, you will manage and maintain our Microsoft 365 environment, server infrastructure, endpoint security, and IT service management platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows/Linux servers, and hybrid infrastructure
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policies, and identity and access management solutions
• Configure and manage endpoint security, device compliance, and security policies using Microsoft Intune and Sophos Endpoint Protection
• Maintain and optimize Microsoft 365 licensing, user provisioning, onboarding, and offboarding processes
• Manage and enhance the Freshservice ITSM platform, including incident, service request, and change management workflows
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to improve IT operations and reduce manual tasks
• Monitor system performance, infrastructure availability, and application alerts using enterprise monitoring tools such as PRTG
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and Microsoft 365 issues
• Support and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure in collaboration with the Development Team
• Maintain technical documentation, backup strategies, and infrastructure security in compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS standards

About you

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Infrastructure
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and managing Microsoft 365 licenses
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Azure Cloud
• Experience administering Sophos Endpoint Protection
• Experience with Freshservice or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and IT process automation
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
