Job summary

Eastvantage Group in Taguig, Philippines, seeks a skilled Systems Engineer to join our ICT team. You will manage and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows/Linux servers, and drive endpoint security and ITSM workflows.

The role requires hands-on experience with Entra ID, AD, Intune, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), PowerShell automation, and a security-minded approach aligned with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS. You will collaborate with Development and Network teams to ensure reliable IT operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and licenses.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Azure Cloud.
• Experience administering Freshservice ITSM platform.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and IT automation.
• Experience with virtualization such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Familiarity with PRTG monitoring and ITIL processes.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Good English communication and problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policies, and identity and access management solutions.
• Configure and manage endpoint security, device compliance, and security policies using Microsoft Intune and Sophos Endpoint Protection.
• Maintain and optimize Microsoft 365 licensing, user provisioning, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Manage and enhance the Freshservice ITSM platform, including incident, service request, and change management workflows.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to improve IT operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Monitor system performance, infrastructure availability, and application alerts using enterprise monitoring tools such as PRTG.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Support and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure in collaboration with the Development Team.
• Maintain technical documentation, backup strategies, and infrastructure security in compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS standards.
• Collaborate with the Network Engineer, Service Delivery, and Information Security teams to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.

What You'll Do:

Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows/Linux servers, and hybrid infrastructure.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Infrastructure.

Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and managing Microsoft 365 licenses.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Azure Cloud.

Experience administering Sophos Endpoint Protection.

Experience with Freshservice or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and IT process automation.

Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.

Strong experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux/Ubuntu environments.

Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools such as PRTG.

Understanding of ITIL processes, change management, and IT service delivery best practices.

Experience supporting development teams and managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Good English communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure.

Nice to Have: Microsoft 365 and Azure certifications, as well as knowledge of ISO 27001 and PCI DSS compliance requirements.
