Job summary

Cforce IT Solutions in the Philippines seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support operation, security, and ISO 27001 compliance. You'll manage Windows Server, AD, M365/Azure, virtualization, networking, backup, and security infrastructure.

Collaborating with information security and IT operations, you'll implement controls, remediate gaps, document processes, and provide evidence for certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration experience.
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Experience supporting virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster-recovery technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and segmentation.
• Experience with server patching, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.
• Strong PowerShell or other infrastructure automation skills.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Windows Server and related infrastructure.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services.
• Support Microsoft 365 infrastructure and associated identity and access controls.
• Support virtualization platforms, server infrastructure, storage, backup, and recovery systems.
• Assist with network infrastructure, firewalls, VPN, segmentation, and secure connectivity.
• Maintain infrastructure availability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Partner with Information Security to implement infrastructure-related controls required by the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System.
• Assist with remediation of technical gaps identified through ISO 27001 gap assessments, internal audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security reviews.
• Implement and maintain appropriate access controls across infrastructure systems.
• Develop and maintain secure configuration standards for servers, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and supporting platforms.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the operation, security, and continuous improvement of the company's IT infrastructure, with a particular focus on supporting the organization's ISO/IEC 27001 certification initiative. This role will work closely with Information Security, IT Operations, application teams, and other stakeholders to implement infrastructure-related security controls, remediate identified gaps, maintain technical documentation, and provide evidence required to demonstrate compliance with ISO 27001 requirements. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience managing enterprise Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Azure, virtualization, network, backup, and security infrastructure and understands how disciplined IT operations—including configuration management, access control, vulnerability management, logging, backup, change management, and disaster recovery—support an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS).
