Job summary

You will manage servers, storage, security tools, and cloud platforms while driving capacity planning, patching, hardening, and DR readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years in System administration/engineering.
• ITIL, Microsoft Certified, VMware Certified Professional, or equivalent.
• Experience managing mission-critical systems in a 24/7 financial services environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Linux, AIX, Hypervisors and related IT infrastructure.
• Knowledgeable in security tools, patching tools, and VA tools.
• Systems administration & lifecycle management - servers, storage, cloud, security tools.
• Performance & capacity monitoring - utilization, availability, tuning.
• Security & compliance enforcement - patching, hardening, access controls.
• Backup & DR support - backup validation, DR readiness, incident resolution.
• Vendor coordination and SLA adherence.

Responsibilities

Job description

The System Administrator ensure smooth IT infrastructure operations, supporting critical systems such as servers, storage, security tools, and cloud platforms. Responsibilities include ensuring that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of systems comply with standards and adhere to policy. Providing support to daily operations, capacity planning, and compliance with regulatory standards. It is responsible for completing patching and hardening, validating backup success, supporting disaster recovery readiness, and resolving escalated incidents. The position also focuses on optimizing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support organizational growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:
