White Cloak Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure and enterprise systems. You will ensure the availability, security, performance, and reliability of servers, operating systems, network devices, and related services.
The ideal candidate will troubleshoot effectively in enterprise environments, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and deliver reliable IT solutions to support business objectives.
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure and enterprise systems. The role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, performance, and reliability of servers, operating systems, network infrastructure, hardware, and other critical IT services.
The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting and systems administration skills, is comfortable working with enterprise environments, and can collaborate with internal and external teams to implement solutions, resolve technical issues, and support IT projects.
Manage, maintain, and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, laptops, desktops, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, and network environments (LAN/WAN/Internet/Intranet).
Perform server administration, including user/group management, security permissions, Group Policy, print services, system monitoring, and event-log analysis.
Monitor data center health, system performance, and infrastructure resources; troubleshoot hardware and system issues and ensure high availability of critical systems.
Configure, deploy, test, and maintain servers, storage, virtualization environments, and related infrastructure.
Manage enterprise backup, recovery, storage volumes, and remote replication to support business continuity.
Apply security updates, patches, and configurations to maintain the security and stability of IT systems.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and provide technical support to the Help Desk and other IT teams.
Support cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, as well as application integration and other infrastructure-related projects.
Conduct routine system audits and ensure infrastructure and operational requirements are met.
Create and maintain Service Transition documentation for Technical Operations, updating documentation for new projects and system enhancements.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to implement solutions, resolve issues, and support IT initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure, or a similar role.
Strong experience in server and operating system administration, particularly Windows/Linux environments.
Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization, networking, and system monitoring.
Experience with backup and recovery, storage management, and remote replication.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
Familiarity with networking technologies, security practices, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex or distributed systems.
Good communication and collaboration skills for working with technical teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
