Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or engineering within enterprise IT environments.
• Solid experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments, Active Directory, and system monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Working knowledge of scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Understanding of ITIL processes, change management, and incident response protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and support enterprise systems including physical and virtual servers, cloud infrastructure, and storage platforms.
• Implement system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot system-level incidents, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support IT service delivery.
• Assist in deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Support backup and disaster recovery procedures, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
• Participate in IT projects such as migrations, system integrations, and automation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and IT governance policies.
