Job Summary
The System Administrator – Wintel + Citrix is responsible for managing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting Windows-based server infrastructure and Citrix environments. The role ensures the availability, performance, security, and reliability of enterprise systems while providing technical support, troubleshooting, and infrastructure administration.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Manage and support Citrix infrastructure, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Workspace, and related components.
Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and overall infrastructure health.
Perform administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows services.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, security policies, and system configurations.
Troubleshoot Windows Server, Citrix, application, connectivity, and performance-related issues.
Perform regular system maintenance, patch management, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
Support virtualization environments such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
Monitor and resolve incidents, service requests, and infrastructure alerts within agreed SLA.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues.
Perform system backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
Coordinate with network, security, database, application, and service desk teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
Work with vendors and third-party providers for technical support, escalations, and infrastructure-related concerns.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in System Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related role.
Strong experience in Windows Server Administration and Citrix Administration.
Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper‑V is an advantage.
Knowledge of Windows Server versions, system patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and problem management.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or on‑call support when required
