Job summary

LaVie is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to assist in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure in Manila. You will work with Windows servers, Active Directory, and Office 365 while supporting virtualization environments such as Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper-V.

The role involves system maintenance, security, and end-user IT support, with opportunities to learn and develop troubleshooting and incident handling skills in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in system administration or IT support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policies, and user access management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration.
• Familiarity with SAN, NAS, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
• Basic troubleshooting skills using tools such as Event Viewer and Resource Monitor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers and environments.
• Manage and support Active Directory, including user/group administration and Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
• Support Microsoft Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Assist in managing physical and virtual servers, including Nutanix, VMware, or Hyper-V environments.
• Monitor system performance, ensure backups and disaster recovery processes are functioning, and apply security patches and antivirus updates.
• Implement basic IT security practices, including access controls, endpoint protection, and routine vulnerability checks.
• Provide technical support by diagnosing hardware and software issues and escalating when necessary.
• Assist in system upgrades, migrations, infrastructure projects, and maintain documentation, monitoring, and basic reporting.
