Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Manila is seeking Sustainability Engineers to support the UK team in feasibility studies, energy reporting and design reviews. The role offers exposure to MEP, civil, and sustainability frameworks within a global engineering consultancy.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, familiarity with UK standards, and experience with thermal modelling and BREEAM. Data centre knowledge is an advantage and opportunities for professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with UK projects and standards is preferred.
• Data centre knowledge is an advantage.
• BREEAM experience and understanding of sustainability frameworks.
• Thermal modelling experience (IESVE preferred).

Responsibilities

• Undertake thermal modelling activities (IESVE experience preferred).
• Support BREEAM assessments on projects.
• Prepare and issue feasibility studies and energy reports.
• Conduct technical research on renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in developing sustainability-related marketing materials.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and briefings.
• Participate in CPD and technical training programs.

We are looking for a Sustainability Engineer and Graduate Sustainability Engineer to join our Manila office and support our UK team in feasibility studies, thermal modelling, and energy reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake thermal modelling activities (IESVE experience preferred)
• Support BREEAM assessments on projects
• Prepare and issue feasibility studies and energy reports
• Conduct technical research on renewable energy and sustainability initiatives
• Assist in developing sustainability-related marketing materials
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and briefings
• Participate in continuous professional development and technical training programs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
• Experience with UK projects and standards is preferred

• Strong MS Office and spreadsheet skills
