Job summary

NEG seeks a data-conscious professional to support preparation of quotes and client follow-ups for environmental commodities, while tracking emissions and regulatory developments.

You will prepare reports in Power BI and Excel, assist in ESG data gathering, and collaborate with legal/tax on contract terms, contributing to the decarbonization program and presenting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering preferred (Industrial, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, or related fields).
• Data analysis skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI or data management software.

Responsibilities

• Preparing quotes and following up with clients regarding the sale of environmental commodities (I-RECs, CELs, and carbon credits).
• Monitoring news and regulations (Emissions Trading Systems, emissions taxes, international standards such as SBTi, COP, Platts, etc.).
• Preparing reports using Power BI, Excel, or similar software.
• Tracking billing and invoicing processes.
• Assisting in data gathering for certifications (ESG, Alpek sustainability reporting, ESR).
• Collaborating with the legal/tax department to adjust legal terms in contracts.
• Supporting the decarbonization program for NEG and its affiliates.
• Preparing presentations for senior management.
