Private Advertiser seeks a Global Sustainability Reporting Specialist to coordinate reporting processes and manage data across the organization, focusing on GHG emissions (Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3) and supporting GRI-aligned reporting and EcoVadis submission.
Working with regional operations and cross-functional teams, you will maintain the emissions inventories, ensure data quality, and prepare responses for customer and supplier requests.
The Global Sustainability Reporting Specialist coordinates Company' sustainability reporting processes and maintains accurate, complete and auditable environmental data across the organization. The role manages the collection, validation, consolidation and inventory of Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions data and supports GRI-aligned reporting and other disclosures. The role also co-coordinates Company's EcoVadis submission and improvement program, with a focus on strengthening weak response areas, tracking sufficient documentation, evidence management and cross-functional follow-up.
The role also supports the Global Sustainability Lead with customer and commercial sustainability requirements, including customer logistics emissions calculations, sustainability-related RFP responses, and customer surveys. The specialist helps maintain a global sustainability answer repository to provide consistent, evidence-based responses.
Working with regional operations, facility managers, Commercial, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, external consultants and other data owners, the specialist excels in cross-department collaboration to improve global reporting quality, timeliness and efficiency.
Key responsibilitiesCorporate Sustainability, GHG Reporting, and Data QualityManage the annual sustainability reporting calendar, including data-request launch, deadlines, reminders, validation, escalation and final consolidation. Coordinate with Company’s external consultants supporting emissions calculations, validation, verification and reporting.
Track the monthly completion of Scope 1 and Scope 2 data collection audits from in-scope facilities, offices, equipment and personal vehicles through Origami platform.
Perform completeness, accuracy and reasonableness checks on environmental data submitted by sites and functions. Maintain supporting evidence such as invoices, meter records, fuel logs, calculation files, renewable-energy certificates and estimation documentation.
Investigate material variances, missing information and inconsistencies with regional and local data owners. Maintain the global site and data-owner register, including reporting boundaries, source types, responsible contacts and submission requirements.
Coordinate the annual collection and consolidation of relevant Scope 3 activity data across functions, regions and suppliers.
Maintain Company's global Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions inventories, including current-year results, historical data and approved restatements. Track reporting issues, methodology decisions, corrective actions and unresolved data gaps.
Complete routine customer emissions calculations requests using EcoTransIT and other approved Company methodologies. Coordinate with account teams and operations to respond to recurring customer environmental-data requests.
Review shipment activity data for completeness and identify missing inputs required for customer calculations.
Maintain calculation records, assumptions and supporting documentation for customer emissions reports.
Draft sustainability responses for customer RFPs, RFIs and bid questionnaires. Help to establish and maintain Company's global answer repository (including approved responses, supporting evidence, owners, expiration dates and review status).
Coordinate with Sustainability, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Procurement and Commercial when responses require updated or specialized input.
Co-coordinate COMPANY's EcoVadis annual re-assessment process, including the submission calendar, evidence collection, document review and cross-functional follow-up. Work with policy and process owners to strengthen documentation and close identified gaps.
Maintain a central register of EcoVadis questions, evidence, scoring feedback, gaps and improvement actions. Compare assessment feedback year over year and identify recurring weaknesses in policies, evidence or implementation
Monitor action owners and deadlines associated with the EcoVadis score-improvement plan.
About youBachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, data analytics, business, supply chain, accounting or a related field.
Three to five years of relevant experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data management, greenhouse gas accounting, environmental compliance or related analytical work.
Working knowledge of the GHG Protocol, including Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 reporting concepts.
Familiarity with GRI, EcoVadis, CDP, SBTi or other sustainability reporting and assessment frameworks.
Experience coordinating data collection across multiple countries, facilities or business functions. Demonstrated ability to manage recurring deadlines, follow up across functions and escalation issues appropriately.
Experience working with large datasets, calculation workbooks and supporting evidence.
Familiarity with logistics, transportation, supply chain or customer emissions reporting is an advantage.
Familiarity with EcoTransIT, the GLEC Framework or ISO 14083 is preferred but can be developed through training.
Strong written English and the ability to prepare clear, accurate responses for customers and internal stakeholders.
