Job summary

The Rigging Corporation in Pasay City, Metro Manila is seeking an AutoCAD Operator / Surveyor to prepare accurate drawings, conduct site surveys, and provide measurement data for project planning. This role requires coordinating with operations and engineering teams to meet project requirements.

Responsibilities include creating 2D/3D drawings, conducting field surveys, evaluating routes for oversized equipment, and documenting route hazards and survey results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, Drafting Technology or related field.
• Experience as AutoCAD Operator, Surveyor, or similar role is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D or other drafting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 4-wheel vehicle.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork, site inspections, and route surveys.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise 2D/3D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Conduct site surveys and gather accurate field measurements.
• Survey and assess proposed routes for trailer trucks, including checking overpasses, bridges, road clearances, and other potential access restrictions.
• Conduct route surveys to determine the suitability and accessibility of roads for oversized or heavy equipment and trailer trucks.
• Identify and document potential obstructions, low-clearance structures, narrow roads, sharp turns, weight restrictions, and other route hazards.
• Prepare survey reports, route sketches, clearance measurements, and as-built drawings.
• Verify dimensions and ensure drawings comply with project specifications and field conditions.
• Coordinate with project engineers, clients, logistics/operations teams, and relevant personnel regarding site conditions, route accessibility, and drawing revisions.
• Assist in project planning, site layout, route planning, and quantity measurements.
• Provide technical information and route measurements to support transportation and logistics planning.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, survey data, route assessments, photographs, and project documents.
• Perform site visits and route inspections as required.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the Project Manager or Supervisor.
