Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders based on inventory levels and customer demand
• Coordinate with suppliers on specifications, quantity, quality, pricing, and delivery
• Monitor cold-chain requirements from receiving through storage and delivery
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels, aging, and wastage
• Coordinate with Sales and Delivery teams to fulfill customer orders on time
• Prepare delivery schedules and coordinate with drivers and logistics providers
• Monitor deliveries and address delays, shortages, damages, or complaints
• Conduct regular inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain supplier records and monitor performance
• Ensure proper documentation of purchases, receiving reports, invoices, and other documents

About the role

Coordinate the purchasing and sourcing of fresh and frozen seafood from accredited suppliers, monitor supplier availability, prices, lead times, and delivery schedules. Ensure seafood products received are properly checked for quantity, quality, freshness, packaging, temperature, and product specifications, and maintain cold-chain requirements from receiving through storage and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders based on inventory levels and customer demand

• Coordinate with suppliers regarding product specifications, quantity, quality, pricing, and delivery requirements

• Monitor cold-chain requirements from receiving through storage and delivery

• Maintain accurate inventory records for fresh and frozen seafood products and monitor stock levels, movement, aging, and potential spoilage or wastage

• Coordinate with the Sales and Delivery teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time

• Prepare delivery schedules and coordinate with drivers/riders and logistics providers

• Monitor deliveries and immediately address delays, shortages, damages, rejected products, or customer complaints

• Conduct regular inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory

• Maintain supplier records and monitor supplier performance

• Ensure proper documentation of purchases, receiving reports, delivery receipts, invoices, and other supply-chain documents

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

• Experience in purchasing, inventory, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain is preferred

• Experience in food, seafood, cold storage, or wholesale distribution is an advantage

• Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing processes

• Familiarity with spreadsheets, inventory systems, and basic reporting

• Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
