Global Dollarstore Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Officer in the Philippines to support purchasing, inventory, and logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or preferred.
• 1–3 years in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, inventory, or logistics.
• Experience in retail, distribution, or trading is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers on availability, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and related documents.
• Monitor orders from placement to delivery and ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Track inventory levels and ensure stock availability without overstock.
• Coordinate with warehouses, logistics providers, and branches on deliveries.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing, inventory, deliveries, and supplier performance.

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the company's supply chain activities, including purchasing, inventory management, supplier coordination, order fulfillment, logistics, and delivery monitoring. The role requires strong coordination skills and the ability to ensure that products are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, and delivery schedules
• Prepare and process purchase orders and other purchasing documents
• Monitor purchase orders from placement through delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and product availability
• Coordinate with the warehouse and operations teams regarding stock requirements
• Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels and avoiding overstocking or stock shortages
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, logistics providers, and branches regarding deliveries
• Monitor shipment and delivery schedules
• Follow up on delayed, incomplete, or damaged deliveries
• Prepare regular reports related to purchasing, inventory, deliveries, and supplier performance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
• Preferably with 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, inventory, logistics, or related functions
• Experience in retail, distribution, or trading is an advantage
• Good knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and logistics processes
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other MS Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
