Krypton International Resources Sales and Services Inc. is seeking a Deputy Head of Supply Chain to lead strategic direction across order management, inventory, warehousing and logistics in a dynamic trading environment.
The role partners with VP Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization, process improvements, and reliable service delivery, while developing leaders and managing risk.
The Deputy Head of Supply Chain supports the VP for Supply Chain in providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and continuity across Order Management, Inventory Control, Warehousing, and Logistics services. The role ensures cross-functional integration, executive-level decision support, and the effective coordination of supply chain operations.
Beyond the direct scope of Supply Chain, the Deputy Head also facilitates cross-functional coordination and collaboration with other functions that interface with supply chain processes, such as Procurement, Management Information Technology, SAP Administration, and other relevant support functions, particularly in addressing operational gaps, resolving interdepartmental issues, and driving process improvement initiatives across the organization.
Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory Management preferably gained within an Industrial Trading or Distribution Company.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple supply chain functions.
Proven record in cost optimization, operational integration and improvement initiatives.
Advanced training in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and sound familiarity with RFID and GPS tools
Training in Supply Chain Management, Lean Process Improvements, Leadership and Strategic Management Programs.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma or APICS CSCP preferred.
Support the development and execution of supply chain strategies that optimize costs, improve resource utilization, and achieve budget targets.
Monitor logistics, warehousing, inventory, and transportation costs, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
Reduce cash tied up in aging inventory
Analyze supply chain performance and recommend process and investment improvements that enhance operational efficiency and profitability
Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of customer orders and service commitments.
Collaborate with Sales and other internal stakeholders to address customer requirements and resolve service-related issues.
Drive initiatives that improve customer satisfaction through enhanced supply chain responsiveness, reliability, and service quality
Oversee the effective integration and coordination of Order Management, Procurement, Inventory Control & Warehousing, and Logistics operations.
Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, automation, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor key operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy, order cycle time, productivity, and operational risk management.
Lead, coach, and develop supply chain function heads and staffs to strengthen organizational capability and performance.
Drive performance management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives within the Supply Chain organization.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
