Job summary

Torres Tech in the Philippines is seeking a Purchasing and Supplier Management specialist to ensure supplier performance across quality, cost, and delivery.

The role focuses on conducting supplier audits, CAR management, and continuous improvement with ISO/QMS alignment; collaboration with internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• College graduate of any business related course.
• 3+ years experience in supplier audits and performance monitoring/evaluation.
• Experience with ISO/QMS standards in supplier performance monitoring, vendor evaluation and audit activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance using Quality, Cost and Delivery metrics and prepare reports.
• Issue CARs for quality concerns and track corrective actions to completion.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits per procedures and schedules.
• Maintain supplier records, audit reports, and monthly performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address supplier-related concerns and drive improvements.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Purpose:

Consistent supplier compliance with Quality, Cost and Delivery.

KRA and Tasks:

1. QCD (Quality, Cost and Delivery) Performance Monitoring

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on Quality, Cost, and Delivery metrics.
• Gather and analyze supplier performance data and prepare regular reports.
• Track supplier compliance with agreed service levels and procurement standards.
• Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement actions.
• Coordinate with end-users and concerned departments regarding supplier issues and feedback.

2. Corrective Action Request (CAR) Management

• Issue Corrective Action Requests (CAR) to suppliers for quality concerns, delivery delays, non-conformance, and related issues.
• Monitor submission and implementation of corrective and preventive action plans.
• Follow up and validate completion of agreed corrective actions.
• Maintain records and documentation of issued CARs and resolutions.
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend preventive measures.

3. Supplier Audit and Compliance

• Plan and conduct supplier audits based on established procedures and schedules.
• Assess supplier processes, quality systems, and compliance with company requirements.
• Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations.
• Coordinate corrective actions arising from audit findings
• Monitor supplier compliance status and improvement initiatives.

4. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain complete and updated supplier records, audit reports, and performance evaluations.
• Generate and submit monthly reports on supplier performance and audit activities.
• Ensure procurement documentation is accurate and properly filed.

5. Continuous Improvement and Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with internal departments to address supplier-related concerns.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing and supplier management.
• Support implementation of procurement policies and quality management requirements.

6. Ad hoc

3. Experience in ISO/QMS Standards specifically in supplier performance monitoring, vendor evaluation and audit activities.
