Job Description

Manage and monitor daily purchasing activities of the company.
Able to communicate with local and offshore supplier, review and negotiate contracts / prices, monitor delivery timelines.
Proactively seek out potential suppliers to broaden our vendor master list.
Able to collaborate with internal customer for sound purchasing decision, assess risk or communicate issues or delays that will affect our overall business performance.
Ensure proper maintenance of purchase records and related purchasing documentation.
Ensure that all procured goods and services meet the required quality standards of the company.
Partners with QA Department to ensure suppliers submits audit related documents and certification.
Prepare cost estimates and conduct supplier cost comparison and analysis.
Prepare and submit correct and complete import documents to release goods in a timely manner.
Work to improve purchasing systems and processes.
Performs task assigned from time to time.
