Job summary

Testech Inc in Laguna is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to organize, monitor, and supervise facility maintenance operations, providing technical assistance to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities include planning and prioritizing work, developing maintenance and safety programs, coordinating construction projects, training staff, and performing technically complex tasks on electrical panels, HVAC systems, water systems, and plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) with BOSH.
• Knowledge in Facilities Operation and Maintenance.
• At least 2-3 years experience as Facilities Supervisor/SO.
• Capable in handling people.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review facility maintenance work.
• Develop and implement goals, policies, and procedures; ensure compliance.
• Train staff in facility maintenance and safety methods.
• Develop preventive maintenance and safety inspection programs.
• Coordinate construction projects and other special projects.
• Perform technically complex tasks within the work unit.
• Assist in Preventive Maintenance of Plant 1 equipment.
• Conduct predictive maintenance for electrical panels and transformers using thermographic scanner.
• Support shift engineer/technician in operation and maintenance of HVAC, NVCA, PWS, and auxiliaries.
• Maintain records for Wastewater, RO/DI water, Sewage, air scrubber, and fire systems.

Job description

Under general direction, organizes, monitors, and supervises facility maintenance operations; performs a variety of technical tasks relative to facility maintenance; provides technical assistance to the Engineering Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance.

• Participate in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures; make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

• Train or coordinate training in facility maintenance and safety methods, procedures, and techniques.

• Develop and organize preventative maintenance and safety inspection programs for all facilities.

• Coordinate construction projects, remodels, and other special projects.

• Perform the more technical and complex tasks of the work unit.

• Provide assistance to Preventive Maintenance of Plant 1 facility equipment.

• Conduct predictive maintenance for all electrical panels and transformers (Dry & Oil Type) utilizing state of the art thermographic scanner.

• Help shift engineer / shift technician in the operation and maintenance of HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) System, NVCA (Nitrogen, Vacuum & Compressed Dry Air) System, PWS (Power System) and all Auxiliary equipment.

• Perform in-house scheduled maintenance activities and required documentation of Wastewater Treatment Plant, Reverse Osmosis Deionized Water System, and Domestic Water System, Sewage Treatment Plant, Air Fume scrubber and fire protection system.
