Job summary

NUSTAR Resort seeks a qualified engineer in Fili Engineering on a probationary contract to lead the shift team. You will supervise technicians during operations and maintenance of HVAC and electrical systems.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe, reliable performance of power generators, chillers, boilers, pumps, BMS, UPS and related equipment, and maintaining thorough maintenance reports. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) with valid licensure.
• 3–4 years in industrial or hospitality environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lead, communicate effectively, and ensure safety.
• Experience with budgeting, procurement, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technicians' shift team for O&M of HVAC and related electrical systems.
• Oversee operation of generators, chillers, pumps, and BMS.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and reporting.
• Coordinate with other departments and manage maintenance records.

Experienced on managing/supervising team of technicians during the shift with regards to Operations and Maintenance of the following HVAC and Electrical Systems:

• Power Generators
• Power Substation
• Chillers
• Cooling Towers
• Pumps
• Sewage Treatment Plant
• Boilers
• Air Handling Units
• Fire Pumps
• FDAS
• BMS
• UPS for Critical Equipment
• Energy Utility and Management

Qualifications

• Registered Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical.
• Prior experience in an industrial environment or Hospitality industry is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments (heat, noise, lifting, shifting work schedules, etc.).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in maintenance reporting systems.
• Budgeting, procurement, and project management experience.
