Job summary

Solaire Resort in the Philippines is seeking a Supervisor, Restaurant Events to oversee planning, coordination and execution of events within the restaurant. You will manage event staff and liaise with clients to capture requirements and budgets.

Responsibilities include on-the-day troubleshooting, ensuring health and safety, and finalizing accounts and payments after events. A minimum of 2 years in event coordination within hospitality is required.

• Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of events within the restaurant.
• Supervise and coordinate event logistics, ensuring all aspects of the event, such as set-up food and beverage services, meet their client's specification.
• Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements, budgets, and special requests, ensuring all details are captured and met.
• Oversee event staff, ensuring they are well-trained, informed and ready to deliver high-quality service during events.
• Handle on-the-day event troubleshooting, resolving any issues or challenges that arise promptly and professionally.
• Maintain strong relationship with clients, providing regular updates and gathering feedback after events.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events, including proper handling of food and beverage items and ensuring safe event environment.
• Assist in the preparation of event proposals and help with event marketing efforts as needed.
• Manage post-event task, including finalizing accounts, securing payment, and ensuring proper clean-up and closing procedures.

Requirements
