Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Supervisor, Cash Operations in Taguig, Metro Manila. You will oversee daily cash management, payments, and related controls across multiple jurisdictions, reporting to the Cash Operations VP.

The role requires 3–5 years in treasury or bank operations, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and strong English communication. This is a hybrid, day-shift position in Manila with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of payment processing workflows and message formats.
• Familiarity with OFAC and global sanctions screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cash operations and team tasks across jurisdictions.
• Oversee end-to-end payment runs, documentation, and record-keeping.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and sanctions.
• Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
• Serve as main contact for cash-related inquiries to VP.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and staff development.

MicroSourcing is a leading offshore provider partnering with Maples Group, a global leader in financial services. The position is part of Maples Group’s new operations in Manila.

Your Role

As the Supervisor, Cash Operations, you will oversee daily cash management and processing functions across multiple jurisdictions, reporting to the Cash Operations VP and enforcing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise daily team tasks, assign duties, lead team meetings, manage employee workflow, time, and deliverables.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor end‑to‑end daily cash operations, including payment runs, documentation, and record‑keeping standards.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure timely completion of cash processing, approvals, and reconciliations in strict adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and global sanctions (OFAC).
• Performance Management: Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings to provide coaching, support professional development, and drive continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary contact for cash‑related operational inquiries and promptly elevate critical issues to the VP.
• Project Support: Perform ad‑hoc analyses, support special projects, and foster staff development through training and mentorship.

What You Need

• Experience: 3‑5 years in treasury, bank operations, or a similar financial role.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in payment processing workflows (wire transfers, FX, cross‑currency) and formatting standards (MT/MX message types, XML formats).
• Regulatory Awareness: Working knowledge of OFAC and global sanctions screening protocols.
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills to lead a team and coordinate with global functions.

• Prior experience in a supervisory or team‑lead capacity within a shared services environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and integrity when handling sensitive financial data.
• Proactive mindset with a proven ability to maintain high productivity while ensuring quality of work.
