• Minimum of five years of experience in Warehouse Operations, Material Control, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain functions.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong background in Kitting, Material Control, and Warehouse Operations.
• Knowledge of WMS, inventory control processes, and supply chain best practices is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and people management skills.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Material Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and production coordination, kitting, and material control operations to ensure efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, on-time material availability, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This role provides leadership and direction material center personnel, drives operational excellence, and serves as a key link between management and employees. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong experience in material control, and people supervision, capable of developing teams while supporting productivity, profitability, and sustainable business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and oversee day-to-day warehouse and production coordination, kitting, and material control operations to ensure efficient and accurate material flow.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments to meet operational requirements and business objectives.
• Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and performance, providing regular coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
• Establish performance goals and deadlines aligned with company objectives and communicate expectations clearly to team members.
• Ensure proper inventory management, material handling, storage, issuance, and stock accuracy.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely availability and delivery of materials to support production requirements.
• Investigate operational issues, employee concerns, and customer-related complaints, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate personnel records, timekeeping reports, and operational documentation.
• Prepare and submit performance, inventory, and operational reports to management.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and employees by relaying information, updates, and organizational initiatives.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of material center personnel.
• Recommend employee recognition, promotions, and performance improvement actions based on performance evaluations.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory control, workplace safety, and overall operational performance.
• Lead problem-solving activities and support initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in Warehouse Operations, Material Control, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain functions.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong background in Kitting, Material Control, and Warehouse Operations (required).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational performance.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control processes, and supply chain best practices is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and people management skills.
