The Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes to enhance operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the organization. This role supports process improvement initiatives by gathering requirements, identifying inefficiencies, developing process solutions, and assisting in the implementation of standardized workflows and operational practices.
YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY
Process Analysis and Documentation
- Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Document current-state and future-state workflows, process maps, SOPs, and business requirements.
- Conduct process walkthroughs and interviews with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and requirements.
- Maintain accurate process documentation to support standardization and continuous improvement.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, and process optimization.
- Independently analyze business processes, develop current and future-state process maps, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements aligned with business needs
Process Improvement Implementation
- Support end-to-end process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and other structured methodologies.
- Assist in developing and implementing process solutions that improve operational efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and recommend practical improvements.
- Support the development of improvement plans, action items, and implementation timelines.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented process changes and provide recommendations for further improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and control measures.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and consistently applied.
Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring
- Gather and analyze operational data to support process improvement decisions.
- Develop basic reports, trackers, and performance monitoring tools to measure process effectiveness.
- Assist in identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for operational improvements.
- Support the creation of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for process initiatives.
- Validate process improvements through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Project Support
- Collaborate with department stakeholders to understand business requirements and operational needs.
- Participate in cross-functional process improvement projects and transformation initiatives.
- Support stakeholder discussions, workshops, and process improvement sessions.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes.
- Provide updates on project progress, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
Quality Management and Continuous Improvement
- Support the implementation of quality standards, process controls, and operational guidelines.
- Assist in conducting process audits, compliance reviews, and performance assessments.
- Identify opportunities to improve process consistency, efficiency, and user experience.
- Promote the adoption of standardized workflows and best practices across teams.
- Contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
- Independently identify operational inefficiencies, analyze root causes, recommend process improvements, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes.
- Recommend and help implement automation or AI tools as part of process improvement initiatives.
- Independently review and validate all AI-assisted or automated output against team quality standards before finalizing it.
YOUR TALENT
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum1–2 years of experience in process improvement, business process analysis, operations excellence, or related roles.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience creating process maps, SOPs, workflow documentation, and business requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; experience with Power BI or process mapping tools is an advantage.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop practical process improvement recommendations
