In this role you will uphold safety and brand standards, prepare performance reports, and drive studio profitability through upselling and efficient processes in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio and ensure a smooth, professional, and enjoyable experience for clients.
Oversee daily studio operations, including opening/closing, cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness of facilities.
Manage bookings, scheduling, client inquiries, payments, confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling.
Provide excellent customer service and assist clients with studio orientation, equipment, lighting, and basic setup.
Monitor, maintain, and properly organize studio equipment, props, and supplies.
Coordinate repairs, maintenance, equipment replacements, and other operational requirements.
Support sales and revenue generation through upselling, promotions, packages, and additional studio services.
Supervise and coordinate studio assistants and support staff, including task assignment, training, attendance, and performance monitoring.
Ensure the studio consistently meets company brand, service, safety, and operational standards.
Monitor compliance with safety procedures and maintain records of incidents, equipment issues, and maintenance activities.
Prepare regular reports on bookings, sales, revenue, expenses, equipment status, and overall studio performance.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and studio profitability.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, Communications, or a related field.
Preferably 2+ years of experience in studio operations, hospitality, events, retail management, or a similar client-facing service environment.
Knowledge of sales processing, booking systems, and customer service operations.
Experience or familiarity with photography studios, production spaces, or creative environments is an advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate and comfortable using booking systems, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Basic technical aptitude, particularly in equipment handling, lighting, or willingness to undergo training.
Customer-service oriented, professional, proactive, and solution-focused.
