Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Student Success Coach in Ortigas, Pasig. This hybrid, day-shift role focuses on monitoring student progress, LMS administration, and personalized coaching to maintain momentum across programs.

You will coordinate tutoring, track analytics, and work with vocational trainers to ensure the course meets competency outcomes. Strong CRM and LMS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or mentoring adult learners in a tertiary/VET setting.
• Experience with LMS platforms (Canvas, Moodle) and student data management.
• Ability to analyze attendance, progress, and engagement metrics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student attendance and LMS admin tasks (password resets, module unlocks).
• Provide one-on-one coaching and goal setting to maintain study momentum.
• Coordinate early intervention and tutoring sessions for at-risk learners.
• Track progress data, log touchpoints, and generate reports on KPIs.
• Collaborate with vocational trainers and academic staff to align support with outcomes.
• Gather and act on student feedback to improve support services.

Your role
As aStudent Success Coach, you will:

• Student Monitoring & LMS Administration: Track student attendance and assessment submission milestones; resolve LMS/Canvas portal requests (password resets, module unlocks, result transfers).
• One-on-One Coaching & Mentoring: Deliver personalized academic coaching, assist with goal setting, identify learning barriers, and provide motivational support to maintain study momentum.
• Support Coordination & Early Intervention: Identify disengaged or at-risk learners; schedule targeted tutoring sessions, study groups, or academic catch-up workshops.
• Progress Tracking & Analytics: Assess student progress data, log contact touchpoints, monitor submission trends, and generate progress reports against key performance metrics.
• Cross-Functional Academic Collaboration: Work closely with vocational trainers, assessors, and academic staff to align support plans with course requirements and competency outcomes.
• Feedback & Student Engagement: Maintain regular multi-channel communication (phone, email, LMS messaging) and collect student feedback to drive continuous improvement in support services.

What You Need:
Non-negotiables:

• Student Support & Mentoring Skills: Demonstrated ability to build rapport, de-escalate disengagement, and coach adult learners through academic barriers in a VET or tertiary setting.
• LMS & Educational Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience navigating and administering Student Management Systems and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Moodle).
• Data Tracking & Metric Ownership: Ability to track and analyze attendance data, assessment submission rates, and student contact logs.
• Communication & Motivation Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills to inspire learners, deliver clear guidance, and maintain high engagement.
• Organizational & Multi-Tasking Ability: Strong administrative skills to manage high-volume student check-ins, portal requests, and support schedules concurrently.

Preferred skills/expertise:

• Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor's degree or higher) in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related fields.
• Background in the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) operations.
• Familiarity with trade, construction, or adult vocational education pathways.
• Experience utilizing CRM or ticketing platforms to track student contact rates and satisfaction metrics.
