Job summary

Our Clients in Metro Manila is seeking a Structural Steel Estimator to prepare accurate project estimates, quantities, labor, and costs for steel fabrication and construction. The role requires reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope to develop competitive estimates.

The position also involves take-offs for steel, plates, bolts, welding materials, coatings, and other items, along with coordinating with engineering and procurement teams to validate costing assumptions and deliver timely

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Experience in estimating, quantity take-off, or cost engineering, preferably in structural steel fabrication/steel construction.

Responsibilities

Review structural drawings, specs, and scope to determine project requirements.
Prepare detailed estimates and cost calculations for structural steel fabrication and installation.
Perform quantity take-offs for structural steel, plates, bolts, welding materials, coatings, and other materials.
Calculate material, labor, equipment, fabrication, transportation, and installation costs.
Prepare bills of materials, cost breakdowns, and pricing summaries.
Coordinate with engineering, detailing, procurement, fabrication, and project teams.
