Qualifications

• 1+ years in estimating, construction, or related field.
• Experience with Structural Steel projects preferred.
• Proficient in Bluebeam software.
• Strong math and analytical abilities beyond basic calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and project documents.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for Structural Steel.
• Use Bluebeam for markups, measurements, and document management.
• Analyze labor, material, and production costs to develop estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and subs to gather pricing and tech info.
• Maintain organized estimate documentation and project records.
• Assist in bid preparation and proposal submissions.
• Identify risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and on time.
