The ideal candidate will have strong math skills and be comfortable with Bluebeam and other estimating tools. The position requires attention to detail, effective communication with project teams, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accurate

Formación

• 1+ years in estimating, construction, or related field.
• Experience with Structural Steel projects preferred.
• Proficient in Bluebeam software.
• Strong math and analytical abilities beyond basic calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Review drawings, specs, and project documents.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for Structural Steel.
• Use Bluebeam for markups, measurements, and document management.
• Analyze labor, material, and production costs to develop estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and subs to gather pricing and tech info.
• Maintain organized estimate documentation and project records.
• Assist in bid preparation and proposal submissions.
• Identify risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and on time.
