Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is hiring a Preconstruction Estimator, Structural Steel to join our office-based team in the Philippines. You will open project estimates, perform steel takeoffs, manage Bluebeam markups, and coordinate with designers and suppliers using SharePoint, Trello, Claude, and Siteline.

Qualifications

• Background in structural steel takeoff, fabrication or erection side, gained through estimating or detailing support.
• Bluebeam proficiency for quantity takeoff and markup.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, connection details, and specs.
• Strong Excel skills, structured workbooks, formulas and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Open an estimating file for each project and use the company’s file system.
• Provide complete take-off on steel fabrication work.
• Provide take-off on the Excel Bid Sheet.
• Create Bluebeam PDFs with notes and markups matching take-offs.
• Become proficient in the company software stack (SharePoint, Bluebeam, Trello, Claude, Siteline).
• Support modeling, detailing, and coordination with detailers and design professionals.
• Correlate cost coding information and maintain updates in cost codes.
• Start project folders on the Operations SharePoint site and transfer files accordingly.
• Create a master set of project drawings in Bluebeam per standards.
