Job summary

Staff Domain Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Commercial Structural Steel Estimator with 3+ years of experience to prepare accurate bids for commercial projects.

You will review drawings, quantify materials, coordinate with subcontractors, and develop costed proposals that are competitive and viable for clients and the company. WFH options available from Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga or Cebu as noted.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a commercial structural estimator in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and working drawings.
• High level of competency with MS Office, especially Excel; contract administration experience.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, drawings, specs to prepare cost estimates.
• Obtain subcontractor quotes and incorporate buy-outs.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals with scope and pricing.
• Attend site visits and tender meetings for project understanding.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to ensure accuracy of estimates.
• Follow up on bids and manage multiple projects.
