Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Structural Engineer – Residential & Light Commercial in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City. The role oversees design lead duties, calculations, and documentation for residential and light commercial projects.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure code compliance, and deliver high-quality work on time within a hybrid schedule including night shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of structural engineering experience, wood and masonry focus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and structural design software.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Building Codes and IBC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for residential projects and light commercial works.
• Perform structural analysis for wood, masonry, steel and concrete.
• Prepare calculations, reports and detailed construction documents.
• Develop AutoCAD drawings; use Revit where applicable.
• Coordinate with architects, PMs, consultants, and clients.
• Review specs and contract docs for code compliance.
• Respond to RFIs, perform design reviews, and site visits as needed.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
