Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead residential and light commercial projects. You will perform structural analysis, create designs in wood, masonry, steel, and concrete, and prepare detailed construction documents.

Collaboration with architects, PMs, and clients will be essential to deliver quality work on schedule. You should have 3-5+ years of experience, strong AutoCAD 2D skills, and familiarity with Revit and RISA 3D.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of structural engineering experience, especially wood and masonry.
• Strong AutoCAD 2D proficiency and Revit experience.
• Experience with RISA 3D for structural analysis and design.
• Solid knowledge of Florida Building Codes and IBC requirements.
• US project experience is required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design of residential and light commercial projects.
• Perform structural analysis and design for wood, masonry, steel, and concrete.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and construction documents.
• Develop AutoCAD drawings and apply Revit where applicable.
• Coordinate with architects, PMs, consultants, and clients throughout the project.
• Review specs and drawings for compliance and respond to RFIs.
