Job summary

PTCC Facade Design in Makati City is seeking a Structural Engineer specializing in facades. You will work with facade designers and clients to produce safe, economical facade designs for projects around the world.

The role emphasizes finite element modeling and analysis, in an open-source software environment, with training provided for fresh graduates. Responsibilities include developing FE models, preparing technical reports, and staying updated on codes for multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PRC license is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in facade industry is advantageous.
• Background knowledge of finite element theory is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Python or any programming language is advantageous.
• Familiarity with STAAD, Robot, or any structural analysis software is advantageous.
• Experience using CAD software is advantageous.

Job description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team at PTCC Facade Design. In this role, you will work closely with facade designers and interact with clients to produce facade designs for prestigious buildings in locations around the world.

As a Structural Engineer specializing in facades, you will ensure that the facade systems being developed are safe, economical, and conform to local technical regulations and industry standards. This role involves utilizing various structural calculation approaches, from hand calculations to finite element analysis. Working in a design and consulting environment means that you will encounter technically challenging engineering problems.

This is a full-time position, and you will be working in our office in Makati City.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an engineer with excellent analytical skills who has a high attention to detail, and is creative in problem solving. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with less than one year of experience who is enthusiastic about learning and developing their skills in facade structural engineering. Accepted candidates will receive training in this field to become an expert in the industry.

In particular, we are seeking an engineer who will be handling finite element modeling and analysis of facade components, which will be done in an open source computer software.

If you have prior facade structural engineering and / or finite element modeling experience, compensation can be adjusted based on your qualifications.
