Job summary

PTCC Facade Design in Makati City is seeking a Structural Engineer specializing in facades. You will work with facade designers and clients to produce safe, economical facade designs for projects around the world.

The role emphasizes finite element modeling and analysis, in an open-source software environment, with training provided for fresh graduates. Responsibilities include developing FE models, preparing technical reports, and staying updated on codes for multiple regions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
PRC license is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience in facade industry is advantageous.
Background knowledge of finite element theory is advantageous.
Proficiency in Python or any programming language is advantageous.
Familiarity with STAAD, Robot, or any structural analysis software is advantageous.
Experience using CAD software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Work with facade designers and produce facade designs in accordance with project requirements.
Develop finite element models of facade components.
Prepare calculation reports and other technical reports.
Conduct technical reviews of facade designs and calculation reports.
Become familiar with the latest technical standards and codes for USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Attend meetings with clients as a technical representative.
