Job summary

BG&E Part of SYSTRA in Manila, Philippines, invites a Graduate or Early-Career Structural Engineer to join our Buildings & Structures team. Work on Australian and international building projects, gaining hands-on experience in structural analysis, modelling, and documentation under mentoring engineers.

You'll assist in analysis and design of RC and structural steel, develop models in ETABS or similar, prepare calculations and reports, and coordinate with engineers, drafters, architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
• PRC Civil Engineer License is required or essential for eligibility.
• Graduate Engineer or up to 2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Exposure to reinforced concrete and/or structural steel design through university or professional experience.
• Familiarity with structural analysis and design principles.
• Experience with ETABS or similar software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and structural steel building structures.
• Develop and review structural models using industry-standard software.
• Support lateral stability analysis and design for wind and seismic loading.
• Assist in the design of reinforced and post-tensioned concrete floor systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, drafters, architects, and other disciplines.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Develop practical engineering solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.

We are looking for a Graduate or Structural Engineer who is passionate about building design and eager to develop their technical skills in a professional consulting environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in structural analysis, modelling, design, and documentation while working alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of projects. You will receive mentoring and technical guidance while contributing to commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial, and mixed‑use developments.

What You'll Do
