Job summary

Realcognita Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience to model, detail, and draft precast concrete elements in Tekla. You will read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, understand load behavior, and propose practical solutions for structural projects in the Philippines.

You will collaborate with engineers and project managers, produce precise Tekla models, and create shop drawings that meet industry standards while working onsite at BGC Taguig.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years working experience as a Structural Engineer or similar role.
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
Familiarity with BIM software, AutoCAD, Revit and drafting tools.
Must have a recent experience & project in the precast concrete and commercial, industrial building.
Strong proficiency in TEKLA Structures for modeling and detailing.

Responsibilities

Modeling, detailing, and drafting expertise with a strong focus on precast elements.
Reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
Understanding structural behavior and how elements connect within Structural & Residential buildings.
Knowledge of structural loads, compression, tension forces, and overall building performance.
Review and analyze architectural and structural plans and integrate into Tekla models.
Precast modeling structures with precision in Tekla respecting company standards.
Shop drawing creation and management generating, reviewing, and issuing detailed shop drawings.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to address design challenges.
Contribute to improvement of design and modeling processes to streamline workflows.

Worked with different engineers and project managers to address structural and design challenges, proposing practical solutions as needed.
Contribute to the improvement of design and modeling processes, helping to streamline workflows and enhance productivity within the drafting and engineering team.
