About the role

We are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer to support the structural analysis, design, assessment, and documentation of engineering projects involving reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, buildings, and telecommunications structures. The position will work under the guidance of a Senior Structural Engineer and coordinate with CAD personnel and other project teams to produce accurate, safe, code-compliant, and constructible engineering deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and other structural systems under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer
• Prepare structural calculations, analysis models, technical reports, and design inputs for drawings
• Assist in structural investigations, assessments, and retrofit or strengthening studies when required
• Check drawings and engineering outputs for completeness and consistency before senior review
• Apply applicable codes, standards, project specifications, approved design criteria, and client requirements
• Coordinate with Senior Structural Engineers, architects, CAD personnel, QS Engineers, Project Engineers, surveyors, and construction teams
• Raise design issues promptly and support the development of practical solutions for structural and construction concerns
• Participate in site inspections, structural assessments, field measurements, and technical meetings when required
• Incorporate review comments accurately and develop proficiency in structural analysis, design, and engineering documentation
• Maintain complete and organized structural models, calculations, reports, references, and drawing inputs prior to submission

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer or recent board passer preferred
• Fresh graduates may apply; up to 2 years of relevant structural engineering experience is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and foundation analysis and design
• Working knowledge of STAAD.Pro and/or ETABS; formal training or academic project experience is acceptable
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
• Basic working knowledge of NSCP, ACI, AISC, and other applicable structural codes and standards
• Able to interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings
• Good analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
• Willing to conduct site visits and field inspections when required
