Staff X in the Philippines is seeking a Structural Drafter to produce construction-ready drawings using AutoCAD and Revit in a hybrid setup. You will work independently across concrete, steel, timber, and masonry projects with minimal supervision.

You should have 3–5 years of structural drafting experience, strong English communication, and a Diploma or Certificate in drafting or engineering. Exposure to Australian standards is a plus.

A structural drafting role built for someone who reads engineering sketches and turns them into construction-ready documentation, without needing their hand held.

This is a full-time, dedicated position for a Structural Drafter who is confident working independently across concrete, steel, timber, and masonry projects. You will be embedded into a construction and engineering drafting environment, producing structural drawings to a standard that goes straight to construction. If you have three to five years of real structural drafting experience and AutoCAD is the tool you use every single day, this role was written for you.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for producing and modifying detailed structural drawings across the full range of construction elements, working from engineering calculations, architectural plans, and marked-up sketches. This is not a support or coordination role, you own the documentation. Your drawings will be checked against Australian standards and issued as part of live construction projects, which means accuracy, consistency, and the ability to work without close supervision are non-negotiable.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Prepare and modify detailed structural drawings covering concrete, steel, timber, and masonry elements to construction-ready standard.
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans, calculations, and sketches to produce accurate structural documentation independently.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Australian standards, codes, and company drafting guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other drafters to maintain design accuracy and consistency across disciplines.
• Assist in clash detection and resolution between structural, architectural, and services drawings.
• Maintain and update project documentation throughout the full design and construction lifecycle.
• Contribute to quality control processes and participate in drawing reviews.

WHAT YOU BRING

Strong hands-on AutoCAD proficiency used as your primary production tool for structural drafting: daily, confident usage is expected and will be confirmed during the recruitment process, not peripheral or occasional experience.

Three to five years of proven structural drafting experience in a construction or engineering consultancy environment, across both residential and commercial project types.

Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering calculations and sketches and translate them into working drawings without close supervision.

A Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project managers.

Revit experience for structural documentation and familiarity with clash detection workflows are a genuine advantage in this role.

WORK ARRANGEMENT

This role is a hybrid arrangement, with 3 days at the Staff X Ortigas office and 2 days working from home.
