Qualifications

• Three to five years of proven structural drafting experience in a construction or engineering consultancy environment.
• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Produce and modify detailed structural drawings across concrete, steel, timber, and masonry elements to construction-ready standards.
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans, calculations, and sketches to produce accurate structural documentation independently.
• Ensure drawings comply with Australian standards, codes, and drafting guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other drafters to maintain design accuracy.
• Assist in clash detection and resolution between structural, architectural, and services drawings.
• Maintain and update project documentation through the full design and construction lifecycle.
• Contribute to quality control processes and drawing reviews.
